The city may have less historic or cultural sights to visit as would other Moroccan cities, but it is a great place to visit all year long to relax in the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunny weather.

Itinerary

Agadir Port - Agadir city

Start your half day tour of Agadir as you meet your driver at the pier and set off on a ride to visit the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella on the hill above the port, the only remaining part of the old city before the earthquake. This is where those vivid panoramic pictures of the city are usually taken, as the place offers a great wide-angle view from above on the white-washed city with its clean far-stretching beachfront and the blue shiny sea. You can also get a view of the harbor, the marina and the beach resort from up there.

Visit the local Berber market Souk ElHad, where you will find various interesting things on sale, and where you can practice a little your haggling if you find something worth the buy. Head to the highlight of the city, the beach, and spend some time there relaxing and taking in the sun, maybe even working on your tan while you’re at it. The beachfront is full of cafes and restaurants for you to choose from, and they offer a great view on the sea ahead.
