4 Days Mount Toubkal Trek

After a delicious breakfast at the Hotel in Marrakech, you’ll head towards the stunning High Atlas Mountains Toubkal via Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni. The views of the Ghighaya valley will take your breath away! Upon arrival at Imlil village (65 km south of Marrakech), you’ll meet our amazing team before embarking on a hike up to the magnificent Tizi Mzik pass (2684 m). From here, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of both the Imlil valley and Toubkal summit. Afterward, it’s off to Azib Tamsoulte for an overnight stay at Refuge Azib Tamsoult. This incredible trek will take approximately 5-6 hours all together – every step is worth it!

Today you’ll be climbing the Ighouliden waterfalls out of the Azzadene Valley to the Toubkal Refuge. The views from the Aguelzim Mountain pass at 3,560m will be breathtaking! You’ll have lunch with a panoramic view of Atlas Mountain Range before continuing on your 6-hour walk to Toubkal refuge for an overnight stay.

Rise at dawn to conquer Toubkal (4,167m)! Leave the village and venture along a winding path passing by the refuge. As you ascend beyond clouds level, be rewarded with stunning vistas of the Atlas Range as well as the Sahara Desert! Your journey will last for 8-9 hours, encompassing 900 meters climb followed by 2,500-meter descent back towards your point of origin. Make sure to spend an overnight in a lodge after such an intense trekking experience – it’ll take around 9 or 10 hours total.

Hike back to Imlil Valley and refuel with a delicious lunch in the quaint village before commencing your journey home. Appreciate nature’s beauty while you explore, taking around 4-5 hours of trekking and 1 hour 30 minutes by car until arriving at Marrakech!
