The Saghro Massives are a great setting and a real treat for the trekker, offering the chance to discover the stunning landscape of Berber nomadic life. Jbel Saghro is a range of mountains located between the High Atlas and the Sahara Desert, with an eastern continuation of the Anti-Atlas. It is a region full of contrasts where one minute, a trail may lead beneath date palms and through almond groves watered by an ancient well the other. The saghro offers very few wild landforms, but small villages attest to human presence. We can see famous nomadic people (Ait Atta) in this area who have made it their home.
