3 Days trek in Ouirgane National Park

After breakfast at your Marrakech hotel, a driver will pick you up and head towards the High Atlas Mountains. You will leave the vehicle on the road up to Imlil, where you will meet with your Berber guide and muleteer. The first day of your trek will be an acclimatization walk in Ouirgane National Park, known for its gentler terrain, copper-green soil, and juniper trees. You’ll spend the night in a hut in Tinzert, a small but rustic Berber village. Approximate walking time: 4 hours.

After your nourishing breakfast, you’ll ascend out of the valley and traverse the spectacular Azzaden Valley as vistas open up with a surging mountain stream encircled by verdant walnut groves meandering towards Toubkal and her sister peaks at the apex of this gorgeous region. Finally, spend overnight in a village Gite in Ait Aissa after around five to six hours of wandering through nature’s beauty!

Today’s expedition includes a spectacular trek out of the Azzadene Valley. First, you’ll ascend towards Tizi Oussem, followed by an exhilarating ascent to reach Tizi n Mzik (2489m). Afterward, you will descend into Imlil for lunch and be shuttled back to Marrakech with enough time left in the evening to explore its wonders! Approximately 4-5 hours on foot.
